Okay I downloaded JRE. So I downloaded the client again and it still says can't find patch system or something..And when I rightclick it, it didn't say edit anywhere.

you have to right click the run.bat file and click edit or open it with notepad, then change the directory inside to where ever your java.exe is located.

To be honest most clients can run for everyone by using the java or javaw setting.
